The work of the Cursillo Movement is the work of the whole church. The Servant Community is a way of distributing that work as well as a means of increasing the overall maturity of the Movement through its leaders. A Cursillo leader is one who helps a Cursillo community by “walking their talk” and showing the way in witness and love. Jesus did not give Peter a position or title, but a directive to serve: “Feed my sheep.” A leader is first and foremost a servant.

David Rowe, chair

This committee helps to develop ultreyas, group reunions for people who cannot locate one, organize diocesan ultreyas and “Back to the Mountain” experiences.  We need a contact person in every congregation who will prepare a directory of everyone who has made a Cursillo weekend, in this diocese or another, in the Episcopal, Catholic, Presbyterian, or any other church who wants to be connected to and involved in our work.  Would you like to do that?  Contact the chair above and let David know you want to help shepherd the Fourth Day.
